Supporting AP could mean that they support AP as a part of a larger, more corporate friendly protocol. Or support AP among other protocols.
I wouldn’t be surprised if their vision is a separate Meta decentralised network where user nodes are more vassals than independent and they use AP to allow connection in but not out.
