Eh, it’s probably not a realistically managable project. I might actually have more luck forking the NetBSD kernel to use compat_linux by default, which would achieve decent compatibility with the Linux ABI.

Yeah, it’s pretty neat seeing or using a really simple system like that. Smaller or older computers tend to be a lot easier to understand, too, in my opinion.
