Oh, hmm. How are you telling which service to be on which IP then? Could you safely post your compose file?
Bridge? There’s your problem I think. Bridge doesn’t allow ingress to individual IPs. In bridge, you tell each container what port it listens on, then access it from the IP of the host.
User defined bridges act differently from the default one as well. May not be relevant to your issue, but https://docs.docker.com/engine/network/drivers/bridge/#differences-between-user-defined-bridges-and-the-default-bridge

Remove the battery if you can

Libreoffice is the way to go for desktops. They’re in Germany.

If you’re using your router as DNS, it’s using something else as DNS. Check those configs. One entry might be invalid or intermittently down. Try switching to another provider.
Also check that you’re actually using the router as the DNS. When you do an nslookup you can specify DNS server. Next time you have the issue try
Nslookup example.com 9.9.9.9
If that replies then it’s not a network issue it’s your DNS config, either locally or on the router itself.

This was the answer. Thanks!

It was easy to set up, but there’s some quality of life issues with actually using it. Bulk uploading existing documents seems to not be supported. Even uploading one by one is rough. I have to either upload as a ‘file’ then convert to a ‘document’ type. Or I have to create a new document, then import and update the file name.
Still, it’s the best option so far because the setup was so easy.

It was simple to set up in a single container with a single (and very not complex) docker compose file.

This looks like exactly what I want, plus extra security and privacy bits. I have no idea how it didn’t show up in my other searches. I’m going to give this one a shot.

I wanted this first, but I’m being extremely impatient. This project was shelved a couple years ago, and they only just unshelved it last month. I don’t think they’ve released recently.
I’ll probably switch to this in a few months once they get that first release out.

Interesting! So it’s a separate container that connects to the documentserver?
Lots of good answers already. Just want to add.
Block IP from every country that doesn’t have your users in it. That will go a long way.

Plugins. But only if they come from the same software provider and are tested in the same way. Otherwise the support is crappy and I’d prefer the features bundled in.

I absolutely love these updates.
Gotta add CSI to that

I don’t know how to answer your question. But it might be that your router doesn’t like being access as a url. I know I had to tell mine to accept login.router.net as itself.
I also just want to highlight:
The router and the host running Caddy, are different machines
This means your credentials are being passed in plain text over your network between caddy and the router. This might be OK to you. But wanted to highlight for anyone else reading.

It’s gotten better. Which is to say, it’s almost feature compatible with the old assistant. But you can also give it context. So for example, if you say “remind me X”, you can get it to automatically remind you tomorrow with an alert at 9am, unless you specify a different time. And it’s ok if you screw up the phrasing a bit.
But DIY is infinitely better. If you have the resources.
