Bitwig is the best native software I could find for myself - it’s similar to ableton in some ways, but different enough to be unique.
You can also use yabridge to run most windows plugins (including kontakt)

to be fair I didnt like the crypto bs either on nostr - but blocking users/communities on lemmy has made it infinitely better
Only dislike I have with Debian is upgrading it was always a headache, but I think rolling release just suits me more.
Its a great distro

Its still an option with CachyOS
Works fine through Steam

Sounds like issues with graphics drivers, can you revert to nouveau?

I think you might have it confused with another distro? no telemetry in zorin

ZorinOS
If you have an Nvidia card, just remember to select Nvidia drivers when booting from the USB for the first time

Im very tempted.

You can vastly improve any laptops speakers with “easy effects” but some peeps have gone to great length to create a profile for the framework laptops:
https://community.frame.work/t/guide-framework-dsp-better-linux-audio/44645
and
https://github.com/FrameworkComputer/linux-docs/tree/main/easy-effects
Cheers, this is what I will go with!
Any advice/tips on getting linux setup on this laptop? Ive only ever used NVIDIA before so Im not sure what to expect.
ah gotcha -I was thinking of spiral linux
