Best thing to do here is buy a Network interface card with 2 ports that support a floating IP address for HA. each interface can plug into a separate lan switch for HA.
Last time I did this, broadcomm was a good choice.
I would not run any core services on WiFi only.
How many users ? How large a network? Could you offload dhcp/DNS to other devices to improve resiliency?
I’m at a loss as to how this would work consistently. If 2 interfaces share an IP without bonding, then only 1 would answer the ARP request from anothet host trying to establish a connection. If your system allows same static on 2 devices on same land, then other hosts talk to whoever establishes a session or answers the ARP request.

Yes. Its their network and their systems and they pay me to use their tools. Thats the only reason i touch windows.
My last job was with a startup and they let me pick my rig. I went native linux and they all thought i was looney. 3 months later i had converted 2 coworkers to use ubuntu.
PiHole works great. I get 20% of requests denied and it really helps keep ads and unwanted sites to a minimum. It was easy to setup. I just update it via ssh once every 60days or so.
The stats are kinda revealing also as to the sites the household uses .

Try nextcloud. It can generate links to files like this.
You could always just get the entire list of AWS public ranges and use that to identify interesting traffic… Of course that would vpn all AWS stuff.
If you have a list of domains, you could schedule a script to resolve each to IPs and rebuild your VPN definition every night.
I use a Pi running LibreElec…basically packages OSMC.
Plug it into a smart TV with HDMI and your tv remote can control the Pi OSMC Interface…no need for a separate remote…I was pleasantly surprised at that.

The contacts and calendar apps support DAV…I use DAVx on android to sync contacts and calendar to nextcloud …haven’t sync’d to Google. Grab it from FDroid. I have an article on my web blob explaining how to do it.
Remember to backup your cloud data and secure your web portal or run over private vpn.
Oh and go find the php updater script…it’s a life saver.

I have Ms VoIP as my provider. $1 month per line and 1 cent per min.
I have a grand stream sip adapter… Configured with my providers info and my creds. Phone can plug into it. Works just fine. Plus you can use any sip client to connect to the same line from mobile or PC.
Also, my old house had pots lines in every room. I took my grand stream and wired it into the house, not a phone. So I can plug regular phones into any of the original outlets and it works as it directly connected to the grand stream. I have 4 regular phones all running over original wires into the grandstream using sip

I got a quote for solar power…but they must use a 3rd party cloud to manage your power and it uses eth over electrical … If you use eth over electrical already, then it does whatever it wants in your home network …no way.
Cell phones? They all go into a guest wifi…not on my home network.
I want to add 1 thing…graphics drivers have come a long way. Nvidia is a good example where some diatros come pre loaded to support Nvidia…like popOS. Check your vid card for distro compatibility
Universal media server works for me. I run it headless on a small instance. Streams my movies and music just fine.
