222·6 months agoNo. Anytime who has actually done MSP work understand that most businesses are not purchasing office. They are purchasing a compliance and technology and identity control plane that has just about every add on a business needs.
Personal office use has always been a nice secondary.

Show me a link to a 4k 120 60+ inch monitor. I want to know what you’d specifically consider a reasonable alternative. None of this vague bullshit.
And who is making 80 inch monitors? Most people don’t want small ass displayed or have the ability to buy a 4k 50 inch monitor.
What a terribly limited and short sighted response.

104·7 months agoVery few people care. So no, for most it is not really a no brainer. It’s more effort and work pretty much everywhere. Try to use jellyfin on the Xbox client and tell me that isn’t trash.

4·7 months agoJellyfins UI being only mouse based is garbage. Using it on Xbox for instance is terrible. Using it outside of the house is also a pain in the ass.

5·2 years agoCompliance and money. Probably has little to do with the team itself and more about the business needs.
Anything that has a remote interface is garbage. It’s all cursor mouse based except on a few devices.
It’s not as good as Plex by a long shot. If you have Plex pass no brainer. If not, I’d personally just buy the pass. On Xbox it was just unusable.
